The Las Cruces City Council will hold a special meeting at 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 24, via video conference to consider extending the terms of the mayor’s emergency proclamation. The emergency proclamation, posted at COVID19Lascruces.com in the left hand menu, was first issued on April 7. On April 10, it was extended until April 24. The City Council will also consider a public comment policy for virtual meetings during an emergency.
In an effort to receive public input in advance of the virtual meeting, residents are encouraged to submit comments, questions or concerns by email to their City Councilor as follows:
