Several streets throughout Las Cruces will undergo construction as part of the City-Wide Striping Maintenance Program.
The following streets will have temporary lane closures while work is in progress:
• Northrise Drive between Rinconada Boulevard and Sonoma Ranch Boulevard
• Del Rey Boulevard between Bataan Memorial West and Mars Avenue
• Parker Road between Armijo Street and the railroad tracks west of Mesilla Street
• Missouri Avenue at Boston Drive
Don Roser Drive between E. University Avenue and Terrace Drive will be closed to traffic from 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 29 to 7 a.m. Thursday, April 30. All other maintenance work is scheduled to begin Monday, April 27, and completion is expected to take a week. The work will take place between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. Surrounding businesses will remain accessible. RoadRUNNER Transit routes will not be affected.
The City has verified that no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in the immediate area during this time. Motorists are asked to use caution through the areas or use an alternate route to avoid possible delays.
