From Emergency Operations

  • This week we will be starting meetings with Economic Development from the City, County and Mesilla Valley Economic Alliance (MVEDA). Objective to provide policy makers with information on resuming new business model for operating during the current pandemic. This will integrate information from the Department of Health, EOC, and Emergency Response Agencies into those recommendations.

  • Non-congregate housing for health care providers (HCP) has been established at several locations within our area. This housing is being used to isolate or quarantine HCP when they are unable to do so from their home. Housing to support low acuity COVID+ patients that cannot shelter in place at home will also have support for housing on a short-term basis.

  • Logistical needs for PPE for numerous health care providers, as well as polling place workers are being processed through the EOC system.
