As part of the City’s commitment to keeping its facilities in a clean, safe, and well-maintained condition, Facilities Management has contracted with a firm to engage in solar panel preventive maintenance and repair at various City buildings and parking lots. Work is expected to start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, and expected to be completed by 4 p.m. Friday, May 29. Please see the schedule of locations and times below:

Las Cruces Convention Center 1 - 3:30 p.m.

Museum of Natural Science 12:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.

East Mesa Public Safety Complex 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
East Mesa Reclamation Facility 1:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.
For your safety, and to prevent potential damage to vehicles, please do not park near where work is being performed. Warning cones and tape will be placed near these areas. This will also allow the contractor to maneuver mechanical equipment, as necessary. Parking will still be available in other areas at these locations.
The City has verified that no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in that immediate area during this time. Access to businesses and residents will always be maintained.
