[ARCHIVED] City Launches New Comprehensive Coronavirus Dashboard

Screen Captured Image Data Available on the COVID 19 Dashboard Webpage

In a continuing effort to provide the public with the latest COVID-19 related data for Las Cruces and Dona Ana County, the City of Las Cruces has created a new, comprehensive web page with a variety of the latest essential data.

Information includes the use of cell phone data for real-time tracking of personal distancing in select areas within city limits with pre and post shelter in place counts, along with a daily count slider. Locations include Downtown Las Cruces, Mesilla Valley Mall and several retail stores.

The site also includes the interactive map by the New Mexico Department of Health that provides data by county and zip code about total cases, total deaths and total tests. Data also includes total number of tests performed, total hospitalizations and number of recoveries. Other charts on the site include breakdowns by the senior population, businesses, employees, those covered by health insurance, the number of available ICU beds and household data. Data from Johns Hopkins University is available as are helpful tips to stay healthy.

“We want to ensure our community has the most current, accurate and relevant information on a variety of coronavirus-related matters,” said Interim City Manager David Maestas. “This web page is easy to follow and contains a considerable amount of pertinent information. I highly encourage our community members to access the site often.”
