OBJECTIVE: To streamline communication between local government agencies during the COVID-19 response. Partner organizations include city and county representatives, local hospitals, the Department of Health, jail and prison facilities, first responders, the Las Cruces Public School district, the Town of Mesilla, City of Anthony, City of Sunland Park and Village of Hatch.  

JIC members collaborate on a daily conference call at 10 a.m., Monday through Friday. The notes compiled during that call are made available at www.las-cruces.org and www.donaanacounty.org

District employees and contractors are now required to attend a drive-through wellness check at six different sites.  

Last week, NMAA board voted to allow practices to begin later this month.  

School re-entry task force will be meeting to discuss what school will look like when classes start in August. More virtual learning will be made available.  

School board work session at 10 a.m. tomorrow.  

*Kelly Jameson announced today the leadership of the JIC will transition to Catherine Zaharko, Doña Ana County. Kelly will still represent LCPS on the JIC calls, which will now be held Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m. until further notice.
