Effective immediately, all solid waste and recycling facilities operated by Las Cruces Utilities (LCU) and the South Central Solid Waste Authority (SCSWA) resume normal business hours and are open to the general public. All customers are required to use masks and gloves while using the facilities and maintain social distancing.
- Old Foothills Landfill – accepts Clean Fill and Green Waste– 555 S. Sonoma Ranch Blvd. – Open Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Closed Sunday
- Sonoma Ranch Recycling Drop Off Center – 555 S. Sonoma Ranch Blvd. – Open Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Closed Sunday
- Amador Ave. Transfer Station – 2865 Amador Ave. – Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturdays & Sundays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (the last customer accepted 15 minutes prior to closing)
- Las Cruces Recycling Center Dropoff – 2855 Amador Ave. – Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturdays & Sundays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (the last customer accepted 15 minutes prior to closing)
- Corralitos Regional Landfill – 14535 Robert Larson Blvd. (Corralitos Exit off I-10) – closed to the general public
- County Collection Centers – bring your punch cards, residential trash, and recycling only – eight (8) locations throughout Doña Ana County. Visit www.scswa.net for locations and normal days of operation for each site
- Chaparral Transfer Station and Recycling Center – 180 McCombs Rd. – Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturdays & Sundays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (the last customer accepted 15 minutes prior to closing)
