Interested in becoming a caregiver in Las Cruces? The City of Las Cruces Economic Development Department is working in partnership with Workforce Connections and Haciendas at Grace Village to create “Meet the Employer,” a virtual job fair webinar via Zoom.

The virtual job fair will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30. You must register at this web address to attend: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/3015929498021/WN_9q4AdiiVT9yI20ajo-NHXg.

Haciendas at Grace Village specializes in Alzheimer’s and dementia care and is an Assisted Living community in Las Cruces. It is now seeking full-time, qualified caregivers. This webinar is an opportunity to learn more and ask questions about the job.

There are basic qualifications that must be met to participate: Registrants must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass a background test and a drug test. While caregiving experience is preferred, it is not required. More virtual job fairs will be coming soon. Visit the City’s webpage dedicated to small businesses and workers during the COVID 19 pandemic: https://www.las-cruces.org/2118/Resources-for-Small-BusinessesWorkers. The Economic Development Department will provide more information to the upcoming job fairs that feature other employers at that link when more information becomes available.

City of Las Cruces news releases are also available on the home page of the City website at las-cruces.org under News & Announcements.
