[ARCHIVED] Great Courses: A Cultural Culinary History

Miss that back to school feeling? Thomas Branigan Memorial Library invites you to participate in our discussion of The Great Courses program Food: A Cultural Culinary History. This program covers the evolution of food around the world from the stone age to the present. Participants are asked to watch four, roughly half hour long episodes, available on the library’s new Kanopy streaming service, over two weeks and then join for a Zoom discussion.

Zoom discussions are scheduled for Wednesdays, August 12 and 26 at 3:30 p.m. Future scheduling may change based on participant schedules. Kanopy can be accessed by going to lascruces.kanopy.com and using your library card number to create an account. For more information on the program you can go to: https://wakelet.com/@BraniganLib and select
Food: A Cultural Culinary History or contact the Reference Department at (575) 528-4005, Monday thru Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., or library.reference@las-cruces.org. Zoom invitations for the program can be requested by emailing library.reference@las-cruces.org or dduffy@las-cruces.org.
