Teen Study Services Offered

Teen Reading a book

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Youth Services Section will offer teen study services beginning Monday, September 14 through the Teen Connection Program. The study center will provide students in grades six through 12 - ages 12 and older - a safe, structured, and quiet space to get assistance while they are in the remote learning phase of the school year.

The half-day programs will be offered at the Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave. The program and activities will follow the Governor’s guidelines on social distancing. Face coverings must be worn during the program and hand washing stations will be provided. There will be morning and afternoon sessions that will include 10 study sessions available to choose from. Space will be limited as we will allow only 20 participants per session.

Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday, September 4 and will continue through Thursday, September 10. There are two options for registering your child: online lottery registration or a drive-thru lottery registration:

  • Online Registration Friday, September 4 to Thursday, September 10, 5:30 p.m.
