A promotional video has been produced which highlights a Creative Tourism Award the Las Cruces Arts and Cultural District won earlier this year from the Creative Tourism Network.
The City’s Arts and Cultural District Coordinating Council was contacted on September 8 by Sabrina Pratt, with SVPratt Creative Strategies, of Santa Fe, and was informed that Creative Tourism Network wanted a short video showcasing the winner, for use in the award promotion.
The City contracted with NMCO Media, a full-service creative media agency in southern New Mexico to produce the video. The video can be seen online at https://youtu.be/1N1k9s98nOs or on the Arts and Cultural District’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LasCrucesACD.
In January, the Las Cruces Arts and Cultural District won a Creative Tourism Award, presented by the Creative Tourism Network. Since the inception of the award in 2014, Las Cruces is the only U.S. city to win the award.
The City’s Arts and Cultural District award is for the Best Strategy for Creative Tourism Development.
In 2019, Ms. Pratt submitted the Las Cruces Arts and Cultural District Plan for an award through the Creative Tourism Network. The list of award winners can be found at http://www.creativetourismnetwork.org/the-winners/.
