The anticipated rehabilitation of parks and sports courts as part of the General Obligation (GO) Bond projects have the official green light for construction to begin.
Tennis courts at Lions Park, 701 W. Picacho Ave., are on schedule to begin surface improvements from October 5 - October 26. Young Park tennis courts, 850 S. Walnut St., will follow with work scheduled for October 26 – October 31. The tennis courts will not be accessible during their respective construction times.
Additional parks that are also a part of the GO Bond parks improvement project, will be scheduled in the coming months.
