Studio Art Classes at the Las Cruces Museum of Art

Art Classes

The Las Cruces Museum of Art is excited to announce that registration for Fall 2020 Virtual Studio Art Programs classes is open. Classes will be held weekly from November 4 to December 19 over Zoom with live instruction for only $15.

The Studio Art Programs classes exist to give our community access to creative learning opportunities. Children, teens, and adults learn a new skill and enhance their knowledge while guided by local, experienced, and qualified professional artists.

Discover your artist within class options including “Elements of Art and Design” (ages 18+), “Sculpture” (grades 3-5), and “Drawing and Painting” (grades 6-8). Classes are offered to all levels of artists. Classes fill up fast, so register early!

Registration must be completed at the Museum of Nature & Science at 411 North Main Street. Students must register in person during the hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Registration ends October 28.

All visitors are required to wear a mask and maintain 6 feet of social distancing when entering the museum. The Museum System is only accepting credit card payments at this time.

The Museum of Art is located at 491 N. Main Street and open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. For additional information, visit the website at museums.las-cruces.org or call 575-541-2137.
