June 1: Immortal Wars Double Feature
The event will feature an introduction and Q&A with film creator and Las Cruces native, Joe Lujan. See the original movie, followed by the Las Cruces premiere of the newest installment in the Immortal Wars story.
There will also be a signing and meet and greet with Joe Lujan from 4-5 p.m. at Zia Comics, located near the theatre.
Immortal Wars
After a catastrophic war plunges the world into chaos, a new race of superpowered beings known as "deviants" emerges. A madman captures these deviants, pitting them against each other on a television program.

Jerry Villagrana grew up in El Paso, TX and, along with his family, attended many Lucha Libre events in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Jerry fell in love with Lucha and would collect masks and paraphernalia throughout his childhood. After graduating from UTEP in 2008, he moved to Michigan where he works in the automotive industry. In 2015 he landed a 2-year assignment in Mexico. Taking advantage of the change of scenery, Jerry transitioned from automotive and concert photography to Lucha Libre Photography. The images in this collection were taken in various arenas throughout Mexico. June 8: Children’s Matinee: A Bug’s Life
Flik is an inventive ant who's always messing things up for his colony. His latest mishap was destroying the food stores that were supposed to be used to pay off grasshopper Hopper. Now the strong-arming insect is demanding that the ants gather double the food -- or face annihilation. To avert disaster, Flik goes on a journey to recruit fighters to defend the colony. When he meets a band of high-flying circus insects, he thinks he's found his salvation. Raged G.

June 8: Classic Film: On the Waterfront
Dockworker Terry Malloy had been an up-and-coming boxer until powerful local mob boss Johnny Friendly persuaded him to throw a fight. When a longshoreman is murdered before he can testify about Friendly's control of the Hoboken waterfront, Terry teams up with the dead man's sister Edie and the streetwise priest Father Barry to testify himself, against the advice of Friendly's lawyer, Terry's older brother Charley. June 13: Throwback Thursdays: Dirty Dancing
Baby is one listless summer away from the Peace Corps. Hoping to enjoy her youth while it lasts, she's disappointed when her summer plans deposit her at a sleepy resort in the Catskills with her parents. Her luck turns around, however, when the resort's dance instructor, Johnny, enlists Baby as his new partner, and the two fall in love. Baby's father forbids her from seeing Johnny, but she's determined to help him perform the last big dance of the summer. Rated R.

June 29: Classic Film: Maltese Falcon
In this noir-classic, detective Sam Spade gets more than he bargained for when he takes a case brought to him by a beautiful but secretive woman. As soon as Miss Wonderly shows up, trouble follows as Sam's partner is murdered and Sam is accosted by a man demanding he locate a valuable statuette. Sam, entangled in a dangerous web of crime and intrigue, soon realizes he must find the one thing they all seem to want: the bejeweled Maltese falcon. Not rated.
