[ARCHIVED] Part of Triviz Drive to be Closed Up to Three Months for Construction

Triviz Drive to be Closed

Triviz Drive, between University Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue, will be closed for as long as three months. The closure began Monday, Oct. 12 for construction of the north roundabout on Triviz and for installation of water and gas lines by the City of Las Cruces.

Traffic will be detoured at Missouri Avenue, to Solano Drive, then to University Avenue. Access will be maintained to residences and businesses during this closure.

Motorists should seek an alternate route or expect delays, particularly during morning and afternoon rush hours.

The work is expected to last through December 2020 or January 2021.

This project is in City Council District 2. The project is under the jurisdiction of the Federal highway Administration and New Mexico Department of Transportation. La Calerita Construction, of Las Cruces, is the contractor for the project.
