[ARCHIVED] City of Las Cruces Promoted as Features in Two Separate Fall Publications

Two Magazine Publications Fall

The City of Las Cruces has been getting some attention after being spotlighted as the exclusive feature in the August edition of Business View Magazine, and being featured as one of the safest places to visit in the Fall edition of Food and Travel Magazine.

Business View Magazine, with distribution in the United States and Canada, highlighted the City in an article titled “Mountains of Opportunity.” The vivid colors and textures of the City and surrounding area are given 10 pages to attract readers and draw them in to learn more about the business landscape in Las Cruces. The magazine focuses on Economic and Community Development in U.S. Cities and Counties. This in-depth profile shares how the Las Cruces community has assumed a dual identity as both a college town and an attractive destination for outdoor lovers and retirees.

“The Economic Development Department of the City of Las Cruces has a bold mission to provide targeted business, tourism, and support services to businesses, residents, and visitors so they can invest in, live in, and discover a sustainable community that fosters business growth opportunities, innovation, and entrepreneurship,” said Griselda Martinez, Director of Economic Development.

Food and Travel Magazine has touted Las Cruces as a “Safe Place to Visit this fall in two of four pages dedicated to New Mexico – sharing some of the highlight with Chama. In this article, the City invites the visitors to indulge in the local art, cuisine and cultural activities that Las Cruces and Southern New Mexico have to offer. It also delves into a little local history offering the experiences of more than 100 buildings on the National Register for Historic Places.
