THOMAS BRANIGAN MEMORIAL LIBRARY TO TEMPORARILY LIMIT SERVICES TO GRAB AND GO AND COMPUTER LAB USE ONLY
Las Cruces, New Mexico- In accordance with the Governor’s Amended Public Health Orders, Branigan Library will be temporarily rolling back some of its services to the public.
Beginning on Monday, November 16, 2020, limited lobby service in the afternoons will be suspended. Patrons will be able to reserve library materials for pick-up in the morning from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and in the afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday-Saturday. Patrons can pick up their items at the building entrance. Grab and Go services are contact-less and masks will be required when interacting with library staff.
The computer lab will remain open, but capacity has been limited to 6 open computers with a 1-hour maximum session time. Patrons who wish to use the computer lab must wear a mask and have their temperature taken before being allowed in the facility. Computer lab hours are from 10:00 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday-Saturday.
These restrictions will remain in place until November 30, 2020, or until the Governor amends the restrictions.
The book drop is open for item returns. The Library is no longer extending due dates, so items must be returned. Fines and fees are still being waived for most transactions.
