Las Cruces now has a new way to find out about the City’s capital improvement projects (CIP). These are projects that impact the quality of life in the community and focus on streets, parks, city buildings or facilities, water quality, energy, and many other projects throughout Las Cruces.
The interface provides several ways to access project details including location, cost and percent completion on phases. Click on a project and the project description is available along with locations, costs, estimated start and finish times for projects, and percent completion of a project’s phase such as planning and scoping, design, and construction.
Pavement maintenance projects are included in the portal. Click on a street in the list, and the system takes you to the location on the map. The listed information includes the segment of the street, the treatment type and the estimated treatment date.
