Due to system upgrades, the following service area may experience discolored water on the morning of Thursday, November 19, 2020:
- Residents and businesses between El Paseo Rd. and Triviz Dr. (from west to east) and between University Ave. and Lohman Ave (from south to north).
Residents may notice discolored water due to iron, manganese, and calcium deposits. Although the water is safe to drink, the City recommends waiting to wash laundry until after the water becomes clear.
The discoloration should disappear within 24 hours. If it does not, residents should flush all cold-water faucets for five minutes. If the discoloration remains, call the Las Cruces Utilities Dispatch at 526-0500 for assistance.
