[ARCHIVED] “A Universe of Stories” Adult Summer Reading Program

“A Universe of Stories” is the theme of Thomas Branigan Memorial Library’s 2019 Adult Summer Reading Program. Explore the wonders of our universe and learn about the solar system. Patrons are invited to try something new: learn new facts about space, read a new book, try a new craft, meet new people, and much more!

Summer reading programs aren’t just for kids; adults of all ages are welcome and encouraged to join “Planetary Possibilities,” the adult summer reading challenge. All you have to do to participate is read books, verify your reading with feference staff, and win prizes, what could be better than that?

Every Wednesday in June and July we will feature a different speaker from 2– 3 p.m. in the Roadrunner room. Each program will help the audience learn more about the universe in which we live and will offer new information gained through ongoing research and discovery. While presentations are geared for an adult audience, all interested parties are welcome to attend. All programs are free and are part of the library’s Summer Reading Program.
