Youth Services program families received a special delivery of complete Thanksgiving meal baskets on November 22 by Youth Services staff as part of an annual holiday event now in its 15th year. Besides spreading holiday cheer, Youth Services provides youth meal service daily for the community.
“The families were very grateful for the baskets containing a turkey with all the trimmings and a $25 gift card,” said Felipe Briseño, Supervisor for the Weed and Seed program. “We are fortunate to have such a generous community that makes providing assistance to families possible.” The Thanksgiving meal baskets are provided annually by the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Due to current COVID restrictions, City staff delivered the food baskets while following safety guidelines.
