The City of Las Cruces has named Meg Haines as the City's new Deputy Director of Human Resources.
Haines officially joined the City on November 23. Haines was previously employed by Dona Ana County as the County's Equal Employment Opportunity/Americans with Disability Act (EEO/ADA) Coordinator. She is a graduate of Mayfield High School and has obtained a master’s degree in Educational Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources from NMSU.
Haines has approximately 25 years of experience in various areas of Human Resources to include more than 18 years of experience in the public sector. Her experience includes areas such as recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, employee relations, training and workforce development, benefits administration, legal compliance, and mediation.
