[ARCHIVED] City of Las Cruces Holiday Schedule 2020

City Hall and most other City of Las Cruces offices will be closed to the public Thursday, Dec. 24, Friday, Dec. 25 and Friday, Jan. 1, for the Winter Holiday, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day holidays. Emergency services such as fire and police will not be affected.

 Closures for Thursday, December 24 (Winter Holiday)

  • Thomas Branigan Memorial Library Closed
  • All Museums Closed
  • All Senior Program Centers Closed
  • Rio Grande Theatre Closed
  • Visit Las Cruces Closed
  • All Pools Closed
  • Meerscheidt and East Mesa Recreation Centers Closed
  • A. Fielder Safe Haven, Frank O'Brien Papen Community Center, and the Learning Center Closed
  • Fixed Route & Dial-a-Ride will operate from 6:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.  MVITT will be open 6:15 am – 3 pm.
  • Solid Waste Offices Closed
  • Foothills Landfill Compost Facility will have normal hours
  • Commercial Solid Waste Christmas Week – collections are done one day earlier than normal beginning on Sunday, December 20th
    • Sunday, December 20th  – collecting Monday’s route
    • Monday, December 21st  – collecting Tuesday’s route
    • Tuesday, December 22nd  – collecting Wednesday’s route
    • Wednesday, December 23rd  – collecting Thursday’s route
    • Thursday, December 24th  – collecting Friday’s route
  • Residential Solid Waste Christmas Week: 
    • Thursday, December 24th – Normal Collection
    • Saturday, December 26th -  Friday’s route will be collected

Closures for Friday, December 25 (Christmas Day)

  • RoadRUNNER Transit and Dial-A-Ride No Service, Offices Closed
  • All Museums Closed
