The City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department will station two roll-off containers, provided by Las Cruces Utilities Solid Waste, at Frenger Park, 800 Parkview Dr. and at Gomez Park, 2283 S. Espina St. on December 19 – 20 as part of the City Council District 2 “Mask Up to Clean Up!” event.
The roll-off containers can be used to get rid of yard waste, bags of trash, large unwanted items without going to the city landfill. Containers will be in place beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday until Monday morning.
The City Council District 2 event will be the last clean-up until COVID restrictions are eased. Future dates will be scheduled in City Council Districts for clean-ups and made available as the State of New Mexico’s Public Health and Executive Orders permit.
