Museum of Nature & Science presents “Saturday Family Science – Ice Cream,” at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 1. The program is free and open to the public. Dairy and soy milk options will be available.
Measure, mix, and shake your way to a tasty treat! Learn about the changes in physical properties needed to make your own ice cream in a bag. All materials are provided.
“Saturday Family Science” is offered monthly, encouraging families to work as a team, problem solve, and experiment through participating in a wide range of STEM activities led by museum staff and volunteers.
The Museum of Nature & Science is located at 411 N. Main Street and is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, with extended summer hours on Wednesdays until 8 p.m. in June, July, and August, and open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
