Due to illegal dumping, Las Cruces Utilities (LCU) will be ending the after-hours Christmas tree disposal at the Foothills Landfill Composting Facility early.
Residents may still dispose of their trees - without ornaments, lights, or fake snow - at the facility during regular business hours: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The facility is closed on Sundays.
