[ARCHIVED] Parks and Recreation Department, Administrative Assistant

Renee Armijo

To: Parks and Recreation Department

From: Barbara DeLeon

Today I took my regular run that goes from City Hall through the Hadley Complex and just as I got to the Parks & Rec admin building my glucose monitor went off, letting me know my blood sugar was dropping. I had forgotten to pack a Gu so I headed over to your offices to see if anyone had any candy. Note the yellow circle highlighting the little detour:

A very nice lady opened the door and I explained the situation. She went back inside to see what she could find and came back with a pack of Skittles. Yay! She said because most people are working remotely she had to hunt around a bit for anything and I was so grateful. I didn’t get her name but wanted to let you know that Parks & Rec customer service gets ANOTHER gold star. Please pass along my sincere thanks for the rescue!
