As part of the Active Transportation Plan Sidewalk Gap Project, the east bound lane on Hoagland Road between Highland Avenue and Alameda Avenue will be closed to traffic for the placement of a new sidewalk. The lane closure will begin on Wednesday, February 10, and will last approximately two weeks, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. The official detour for this lane closure will be through McClure Road.
West bound traffic on Hoagland Road will be maintained at all times.
The lane closure will be on RoadRUNNER Transit route #7, and will affect bus stops 8 and 9. This sidewalk work is located in City of Las Cruces Council District #4.
Access to residences and businesses will be maintained at all times.
