[ARCHIVED] LCU Internship Program

LCU Interns Graduate

Looking for a way to afford your Associate’s degree without Student Loans, with a paid part-time job during school? Then have that turn into a guaranteed full-time job immediately after graduation with a great future? Las Cruces Utilities Internship program is offering you this opportunity! This year, it’s even easier to apply because citizenship is no longer a mandatory requirement. Dreamers Welcome!

The Las Cruces Utilities Internship Program pays for tuition and various other reasonable education-related expenses including a bi-weekly stipend and paid on-the-job training to assist with educational and living expenses. In addition, the intern is required to work 20 hours per week maximum during semesters; 40 hours per week maximum during academic breaks; and a minimum of two to eight years of full-time service employment with the City after graduation, depending on the internship program use.
