[ARCHIVED] Lane Closure on Telshor Boulevard near Del Rey Boulevard Beginning April 6

Roadwork

The southbound lanes of Telshor Boulevard (south of Del Rey Boulevard) will have intermittent roadway closures beginning Tuesday, April 6. The City of Las Cruces continues implementation of safety measures throughout the City. Delineators will be installed to highlight the separate lanes of traffic along Telshor Boulevard. Construction will take approximately a week to complete and will take place from 4 - 7 a.m. The southbound dedicated right turn lane from Del Rey Boulevard onto Telshor Boulevard will be closed during the hours of construction and a detour from Del Rey Boulevard to Telshor Boulevard will be provided.

Motorists are asked to use caution through this area or use alternative routes to avoid possible delays as the construction could affect traffic near the intersection of Telshor Boulevard and Del Rey Boulevard in the area. Roadrunner Transit routes will not be affected and the road work will be limited to the City of Las Cruces Council District 6.

The City has verified that no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in the immediate area during this time.

For more information contact the Public Works Department, Street and Traffic Operations section at 575/541-2505. The TTY number is 575/541-2182.
