The Thomas Branigan Memorial Library is looking for teen volunteers interested in gaining valuable experience- useful for college and work applications- and spending part of summer helping their community! Register for the Library’s inaugural teen summer volunteer program quickly! Spots are limited.
Volunteers will help run summer reading tables, registering participants & handing out prizes to children and teens, and prepare program materials.
Teens interested in this opportunity should:
- Be between the ages of 13 and 18
- Be able to commit to at least one 2 hour shift per week.
- Be able to agree to 6-8 weeks of service between May 28 and July 31.
- Be able to attend an orientation program on May 27 at 6 p.m.
Application packets must be complete and are due on May 1. Applications can be turned in to staff at the Branigan Library, emailed to library.teens@las-cruces.org, or fill out online at https://bit.ly/2QYVSVn.
