[ARCHIVED] Road Closure at Intersection of Del Rey Boulevard and N. Telshor Boulevard

Orange barrels on street

There will be a temporary road closure at the intersection of Del Rey Boulevard and N. Telshor Boulevard for the right lane drop to the south bound traffic on N Telshor Blvd beginning Friday, April 16. Crews will be completing a project to provide cable service to a business. The project will take place 120 feet east of Commerce Drive heading east for 100 feet then turning north crossing the N. Telshor Blvd corridor. The work will include patch work on the roadway. A detour will be in place at the intersection to use the traffic light for right turns onto N. Telshor Blvd. for the south bound traffic. A temporary lane closure for the north bound traffic will be set 265 feet west of the intersection of Del Rey Blvd. and N. Telshor Blvd. The work is anticipated to be in effect for one working day.

For the public’s convenience, the temporary road closure and lane closure will not go into effect until 9 a.m. and will be removed by noon. Motorists wanting to avoid any possible delays should seek an alternative route. Access to surrounding businesses will be maintained during the construction. The road closure and lane closure will not affect the RoadRUNNER Transit route. The City has verified that no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in that immediate area during this time. This project is in City Council District #6.
