[ARCHIVED] Police Investigate Monday Morning Shooting

Unit Lights Daytime Overheads

Police are investigating an early-morning shooting that injured a Las Cruces man.

About 12:45 a.m., Monday, April 26, Las Cruces police were dispatched to the report of a gunshot victim at a home at 2200 north Alameda Blvd. Police and firefighters arrived to find a 25-year-old man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The man was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

 Las Cruces police are investigating the incident and have not yet identified a suspect or suspects in this case. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call police at (575) 526-0795.
