A Water Rehab project for Las Cruces Utilities will continue at Old Farm Road as construction continues on the Water Main Rehabilitation, Carreon Place and Alley North of Picacho Project.
The current lane closure at the intersection of Old Farm Road and the Gillem Lateral will be extended till May 21. Motorists wanting to avoid any possible delays should seek an alternative route. Access to surrounding residences will be maintained during the construction.
For the public’s convenience, crews will work only Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. leaving the evenings free of construction activity. The lane closure will not affect the RoadRUNNER Transit route. The City has verified that no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in that immediate area during this time. The work activity is in City Council District #2.
