LCPD Recruiters in El Paso

Recruiters from the Las Cruces Police Department will be at the Bassett Crafts Market in El Paso this weekend.

Las Cruces police are recruiting for the department’s next Academy that is set to begin in January 2022. Applications are being accepted until July 4.

Recruiters will be at the Bassett Crafts Market, at 6101 Gateway Blvd. West in El Paso, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 8, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 9.

Prospective applicants – or those who are considering a career in law enforcement – are encouraged to stop by, visit with a recruiter and ask questions. All LCPD recruiters are commissioned Las Cruces police officers.

LCPD’s next academy is tentatively set to begin in January 2022 but applications must be received by July 4, 2021. Early submission of applications is encouraged.
