2021 Summer Program Lottery Registration

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department is accepting Summer Recreation Program lottery registration beginning Friday, May 7 through 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 19.

Lottery registration will be online at www.las-cruces.org/play, click on the online registration link. Registration also will be at the following locations during regular business hours:

  • Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center, 1401 E. Hadley Ave.
  • Parks and Recreation Administrative Office, 1501 E. Hadley Ave. (By appointment only, call 575/541-2550).

Drive-Through Registration will be at the following locations from Friday, May 7 through Wednesday, May 19 between the hours of 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  • A. Fielder Memorial Safe Haven, 906 N. Tornillo St.
  • Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave.


Registration will also be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 15 at: 

  • Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave.

Registration forms can be picked up, completed, and returned at these locations during days and hours posted.

Participation in the Summer Recreation Program is determined by lottery selection only. Participants who are selected will be notified by email or text message at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 20. Postings of the winning lottery numbers will be available at the sites listed above and, on our website, http://www.las-cruces.org/1906/Summer-Recreation-Program.

Payment must be received between Thursday, May 20 and Thursday, May 27, at locations listed above during regular business hours or online at http://www.las-cruces.org/play and click on the online registration link.

Any slots that have not been paid for will be open to the public on Friday, May 28, on a first-come, first-serve basis online at http://www.las-cruces.org/play or at locations listed above during regular business hours.

*Dates:                                 
Session I: June 1 to July 14 at Meerscheidt and Frank O’Brien Papen Centers.
Session I: June 15 to July 2 at Meerscheidt, Hermosa Heights and Sierra schools. 

Session II: July 6 to July 30 at Meerscheidt, Hermosa Heights and Sierra schools.

*Times:                                     
 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

*Locations:
Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave.

Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave. (Participants will move to Hermosa Heights Elementary on June 15)

Hermosa Heights Elementary School, 1655 E. Amador Ave.

*Sierra Middle School, 1700 E. Spruce Ave.

*Cost:                        
$200 per session per child.
*$100 for Session I due to late start.

*Grades:                    
Kindergarten to Fifth Grade (during the 2020/21 school year)
(Proof of grade may be required) 

No telephone registrations accepted. For information, call the Parks and Recreation Administrative office at 575/541-2550.
