Access to I-25 southbound (at Lohman Avenue) will be closed between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. for three consecutive evenings beginning this evening, Monday, May 17.
Work will take place Monday evening, Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening, and should be completed by 6 a.m. on Thursday, May 20.
During these evenings, access to I-25 southbound will be closed and a detour will be in place. Traffic will be detoured east on Lohman Ave., then south on Telshor Blvd. and they back to University Ave. The closure is needed for the placement of overhead signs as part of the I-25/University Ave. Interchange project.
The City has verified that no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in that immediate area during this time.
This lane closure will be located in City Council District #3.
