[ARCHIVED] Installation of Electrical Solar Upgrades at Las Cruces International Airport

Crack Sealing Maintenance

As part of the City’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure growth, Construction Management is working with a company to construct and provide solar energy to facilities at the Las Cruces International Airport. Utility boring under Zia Boulevard and Crawford Avenue will be implemented as electrical is being upgraded to include solar energy. Street parking on Zia Ave. will be limited during the workdays. Barrels, cones, and/or construction fence will be placed as appropriate to delineate the work zones.

 For pedestrian and vehicular safety flagmen will be utilized during this work. Work will take place on May 18 and 19, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. This project is in City Council District No.4.
