Access to southbound Interstate 25, at Lohman Avenue, will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for three consecutive nights, beginning this evening, Monday, May 17.
Work to install overhead signs will occur Monday through Wednesday nights, and should be completed by 6 a.m. Thursday, May 20.
During these evenings, access to I-25 southbound will be closed and a detour will be in place. Traffic will be detoured east on Lohman Avenue, then south on Telshor Boulevard, then back to University Avenue. The closure is in effect to erect overhead signs as part of the I-25/University Avenue Interchange project.
The City has verified that no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in that immediate area during this time.
This closure will be in City Council District 3.
