The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department has begun registration for its Teen Connection Summer Program.
Limited spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Options are available for attending the program the entire summer or selecting individual weeks. The following is a list of themes for the teen summer program and their corresponding activities. Each week will include fun and engaging activities mixed in with activities geared toward the weekly theme.
The Teen Connection program is free and serves youth who will be entering sixth to 12th grades, and is at the Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave. The Teen Connection Summer Program hours will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, with some special activities for teens happening outside of regular hours and will be announced in advance. We will continue to follow COVID-19 safe practices, to include mask-wearing and social distancing guidelines.

July 26 to July 30 | Take a Hike! — Outdoor adventures |

- Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 Bell Ave., 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday.
- Parks and Recreation Administrative Office, 1501 E. Hadley Ave. (By appointment only, call 575/541-2550).
