[ARCHIVED] 2020-2021 Crack Sealing Maintenance Project Road List 10

Orange barrels on street

As part of a Crack Sealing Maintenance Project for Las Cruces streets temporary lane closures will begin on Monday June 7, 2021 for the following streets:

  • Alameda Boulevard, from Amador Avenue to south Main Street/El Paseo Road.
  • Lohman Avenue, from south Miranda Street to Alameda Boulevard.
  • North Sonoma Ranch Boulevard, from Bataan Memorial West to Las Colinas Drive.

The work is scheduled to take five working days depending on weather conditions. For the public’s convenience, crews will work only from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, leaving evenings free of construction activity.

The temporary lane closure will not go into effect until after the morning rush hour and will be removed before the afternoon rush hour. The lane closure will not affect the RoadRUNNER Transit.

The work will be in City Council districts 1, 4 and 5.

Access to the surrounding residences and businesses will be maintained by leaving driveways accessible. Motorists who want to avoid any possible delays should seek an alternate route.

For information, call the Public Works Department/Construction Management at 575/528-3098. The TTY number is 575/541-2182.
