[ARCHIVED] 4th of July Celebration Schedule

The City of Las Cruces and New Mexico State University (NMSU) are teaming up to host the City’s free annual 4th of July Celebration. This popular annual event is being held at the Pat and Lou Sisbarro Community Park, 3205 Arrowhead Dr., on the NMSU campus. Gin Blossoms will be headlining this year’s concert with Lee Rocker of the Stray Cats opening the show. The annual fireworks display will begin immediately following the concert.    

The Pat and Lou Sisbarro Community Park on the NMSU campus provides easy access, traffic flow, expanded parking, and can accommodate the large audience that attends this free, family-friendly, community event. 

Schedule of Events:

July 3 

2021 Electric Light Parade  

9:00 p.m.    Solano Avenue (Begins at Apodaca Park, 801 E. Madrid Ave., south on Solano Ave., east on Hadley Ave., and ends at Maag Softball Complex.)

July 4 

2021 Fourth of July Concert and Fireworks

Pat and Lou Sisbarro Community Park, 3205 Arrowhead Dr., NMSU campus   

6:00 p.m.         Lee Rocker of the Stray Cats   

8:00 p.m.          Gin Blossoms 

9:45 p.m.         Annual Fireworks Display  

Gates open at 4 p.m. Food vendors will be on site.  No grilling, personal fireworks, alcohol, RV’s, or overnight parking will be allowed.
