[ARCHIVED] City of Las Cruces Independence Day Schedule 2021

City Hall and most other City of Las Cruces offices will be closed Monday, July 5, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Police and fire services will not be affected.  

  

The following is a list of closures/modifications on Monday, July 5:

Meerscheidt Recreation Center (Closed July 4 & 5)
Frank O’ Brien Papen Community Center (Closed July 4 & 5)
Safe Haven (Closed July 4 & 5)
Learning Center (Closed July 4 & 5)
East Mesa Recreation Center (Closed July 4 & 5)
Thomas Branigan Memorial/Sage Café/Munson Libraries Closed
All museums Closed
All Senior Programs & Centers Closed
Visit Las Cruces Closed
Rio Grande Theatre Closed
RoadRUNNER Transit /Dial-a-Ride will have normal service hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Solid Waste residential and commercial services will run as normal / Offices will be closed
The old Foothills Landfill that accepts clean fill and green waste will run as normal.

Regional Aquatic Center
Open Swim Sessions: Noon - 1:30 p.m. & 2 - 3:30 p.m.
Fitness Center: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Outdoor Pools (REGULAR FEES APPLY)
East Mesa Bataan Memorial Pool (6141 Reynolds Rd.)
Laabs Pool (750 W. Picacho)


 Open swim times for both locations:

noon – 1:30 p.m.
2 - 3:30 p.m.
 4 - 5:30 p.m.

SUNDAY, JULY 4

Regional Aquatic Center
Closed

Outdoor Pools (
FREE SWIM DAY - OUTDOOR POOLS ONLY)
East Mesa Bataan Memorial Pool (6141 Reynolds Rd.)
Laabs Pool (750 W. Picacho)


 Open swim times for both locations:
