The Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley (ASCMV) New Adoption Center and the Rinconada Dog Park will be at 3551 Bataan Memorial West, Las Cruces, New Mexico. The Burn Lake Dog Park is within the Burn Lake Park, 855 Amador Avenue, Las Cruces, New Mexico and is a LEED certified project.
The New Adoption Center will be located next to the existing ASCMV facility and includes the Main Adoption Center, and four Dog Pods to enhance the operational needs of the ASCMV.
The Rinconada Dog Park will be located northwest of the New Adoption Center, on Rinconada Boulevard, while the Burn Lake Dog Park will be located within the existing Burn Lake Park, southeast of the existing soccer fields. Though the Burn Lake Dog Park is at a different location it is part of the same project as New Adoption Center and the Rinconada Dog Park.
As construction activity progresses, we anticipate there will be added traffic on Rinconada Boulevard and Bataan Memorial West. Final completion of the project is set for Fall 2022.
