[ARCHIVED] Traffic Signal Repairs at Griggs and Alameda Intersection

W. Griggs Avenue

Traffic Signal repairs will begin at the intersection of Griggs Avenue and Alameda Boulevard at 7 a.m. on Friday July 9, and is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Friday, July 9. There will be a temporary lane closure for westbound Griggs Ave. between Water Street and Alameda Blvd. Lane closure and detour signs will be installed while the traffic signal repairs are being done.

Surrounding businesses and residences will remain accessible. Roadrunner Transit routes will not be affected. The City has verified that no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in the immediate area during this time. The work will take place in Las Cruces district 1. Motorists are asked to use caution through the area or use an alternate route to avoid possible delays as the work could affect traffic along Westbound Griggs.
