Stargazer, a gripping book, published in April 2021, where murder, deception, and the stars collide in a thrilling mystery set amid the beautiful landscape of the American Southwest. This novel also sees the addition of Officer Bernadette Manuelito to the series.
Dual investigations cause an unexpected rift between Bernie and Jim Chee, her husband and new acting boss. While Bernie's caught between present and past, Chee is at a crossroads of his own. Burdened with new responsibilities he didn't ask for or want, Chee must decide what the future holds for him.
Can their mentor Joe Leaphorn — a man also looking at the past for answers — provide the guidance both Bernie and Chee need? Will the Navajo heroes that stud the starry sky help them find justice — and the truth they seek?
