Traffic signal repairs will begin at 7 a.m. Friday, July 9 at the intersection of Griggs Avenue and Alameda Boulevard. The repairs are expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Friday, July 9.
There will be a temporary lane closure for westbound traffic on Griggs Avenue, between Water Street and Alameda Boulevard. Lane closure and detour signs will be posted while the traffic signal repairs are being done.
Nearby businesses and residences will remain accessible. RoadRUNNER Transit routes will not be affected. The City has verified that no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in the immediate area during that time.
The work will take place in City Council District 1. Motorists are asked to use caution in the area or use an alternate route to avoid possible delays, as the work could affect traffic along westbound Griggs.
