The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department, members of Las Cruces City Council and other City staff will break ground on the Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center Competition Pool at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 13.

This Parks & Recreation project will be constructed north of the existing Regional Aquatic Center complex, at the intersection of Hadley Avenue and Solano Drive. The competition pool will be built by HB Construction at a cost of $15,215,200.
The new facility will include 10 competition lap lanes, meet timing room, training room, lifeguard/first aid room, women’s and men’s locker rooms, and public restrooms. The facility will be 37,085 square feet.
Construction is expected to start July 13, 2021 and should be completed in December 2022.
This project is in City Council District 3.
