Join Thomas Branigan Memorial Library for its first Learning Circle of 2021.
Learning Circles are based on peer learning; we are all experts in something, and sharing is how we learn best. Every member of this General Equivalency Diploma (GED) class will work together to learn.
The GED class will host weekly two-hour sessions where the group will work through A GED Prep Course together for five weeks. Course work will primarily be made up of print and online exercises the group will work through together.
Week 1 - Learn About the GED® Test.
Week 2 - Reasoning through Language Arts
Week 3 - Mathematical Reasoning
Week 4 - Science
Week 5 - Social Studies
The first meeting is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 3. Please note class size will be limited to eight to 10 members. To request a spot, please get in touch with Elizabeth Puckett at epuckett6794@las-cruces.org.
