[ARCHIVED] From The Ground Up XXX Regional Juried Ceramics Exhibition to Open at the Museum of Art

Come to the Las Cruces Museum of Art, 491 N. Main St., to celebrate From The Ground Up XXX.

The exhibit opens Friday, Aug. 6, 2021 and will be on display through Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021. From the Ground Up is a biannual juried exhibition co-hosted by the Potters’ Guild of Las Cruces and features a variety of ceramic and pottery works created by regional artists.

The juror this year is Joshua R. Clark, Assistant Professor of Ceramics at New Mexico State University, who has exhibited across the U.S. and internationally.

This year’s exhibit features 56 works art. Make sure not to miss out on this year’s From The Ground Up XXX. The opening reception is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday Aug. 6, 2021 at the Museum of Art.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. For information, visit the Museum System website at https://www.las-cruces.org/museums or call 575/541-2137.
